I trust your Christmas was both joyous on the inside and outside, regardless of location and company.  Welcome to the end of the year! where we have but a few days to review the past year, including Christmas this year.  Some of you experienced great achievements, maybe a few have gone through some critical trials.  Be they sad or joyful, or even a mixed basket of both, it’s now after Christmas.
After Christmas, should we not continue in the Spirit of Jesus? — Who was sent to us, grew up as have we, living His life with one purpose — being our rescuer from a life separated from God and His holiness.  When water transforms from solid to liquid and to gas, does it mean that it is now not?  No, it’s still water.  It may be called ice or rain or fog, but it’s still water.  How more so glorious is the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit of God Himself still at work, transforming lives, even us.
Father, thank You for this day we celebrate as Christmas, not a day like other days, but one of remembrances centered around Jesus and His birthday.  Use this week ahead to lead us in thanksgiving to You for Your mighty acts and glorious splendor, even transforming our minds and hearts to be in-line with You.
After Christmas, keep up and keep on going, walking with the unseen but obvious Spirit, Who works with our spirit, creating life in us daily.  “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Psalm 145:12, Romans 12:1, ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭32, Galatians 5:25 CSB‬‬

living w/god: Baptismal speech

I am Desire and this is my son Enrique Gianluca. Today, I am here to share with you how God has changed my life.

For a long time, I wondered why, why things were not happening the way I wanted them to happen, after all, I was working hard, I was providing, I was strong, and I trusted myself.  As I looked for answers, I turned to the world, but the world was not providing answers.  I found myself blind, hopeless, and disoriented, and I lost all perspective. In my desperation, I turned to Christ, and I asked Him to come into my life and free me from this burden and guide me to live for him.

It was not until God heard my request that I received answers. The day that He knocked on my door and I opened my heart to Him was the day I understood I inflicted this pain on myself because, for a long time, I trusted myself instead of trusting Him, I relied on myself when I should rely on His promise. Jesus said on Matthew 11: 28-29 “Come upon Me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me. For I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul, and My yoke is easy, and my burden is light

When God came into my life, he offered me a new beginning, a new life, and I embraced it with open arms because for the very first time, I understood that I am not alone and I should not be afraid because everything is under His control, not mine, and so I trust Him, and today I declare Him as my savior, my refuge, and my strength.
