No campaign that is planned will succeed without a full chest of backing, and backing will not happen without the right and relevant slogans.  Little or large, city or nation, each government and even business has their “campaign “ slogan; a thought of focus on their agenda ahead.  Businesses reconstruct and change their direction to gain greater market share, being measured by sales.  Imagine a person or firm campaigning on “Justice and Righteousness.”  How far would they go?  How would they win the public vote today?  What would be the antithetical slogan?
The prophet proclaimed the message given saying, “The LORD is exalted, for He dwells on high; He will fill Zion with justice and righteousness, and He will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is Zion’s treasure.”  Even as we have seen a turn toward darkness across our land, I would certainly vote for justice and righteousness, and the courage to support such a campaign!  His time is coming, where He again will win the victory over darkness, beyond slogans and chests, ruling in wisdom and knowledge with a foundation of justice and righteousness, stability and peace, abundant in salvation — rescues both physical and spiritual; and the treasure chest overflowing, promising “every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,” back by all authority.
Father, forgive us as people and nations for not subscribing to Your rule even today, as You have plainly told us what is good and what You require, being justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with You.”  So lead us now, at home in our hearts and nation.
In ages past, God sent His representatives with this same message; even being delivered by His own Son, Who says “Follow Me.”  It is the fear, the honor of God Himself that is the treasure of His campaign, the trusting and committed hearts and minds of His people.  Make this, His campaign, Who has overcome the world, your 2023 forward.

living w/god: Baptismal speech

I am Desire and this is my son Enrique Gianluca. Today, I am here to share with you how God has changed my life.

For a long time, I wondered why, why things were not happening the way I wanted them to happen, after all, I was working hard, I was providing, I was strong, and I trusted myself.  As I looked for answers, I turned to the world, but the world was not providing answers.  I found myself blind, hopeless, and disoriented, and I lost all perspective. In my desperation, I turned to Christ, and I asked Him to come into my life and free me from this burden and guide me to live for him.

It was not until God heard my request that I received answers. The day that He knocked on my door and I opened my heart to Him was the day I understood I inflicted this pain on myself because, for a long time, I trusted myself instead of trusting Him, I relied on myself when I should rely on His promise. Jesus said on Matthew 11: 28-29 “Come upon Me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me. For I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul, and My yoke is easy, and my burden is light

When God came into my life, he offered me a new beginning, a new life, and I embraced it with open arms because for the very first time, I understood that I am not alone and I should not be afraid because everything is under His control, not mine, and so I trust Him, and today I declare Him as my savior, my refuge, and my strength.
