Communication is both simple and complex.  It may be a simple connection between two people, face-to-face or distant.  Regardless, if both are listening and talking, they have comms allowing this to happen.  Often times, there are comms on top of comms, which leads to confusion, distraction, and miscommunication, as these same two miss the full message, hearing only every other word, leading to the chaos of confusion and even mis-communication.
Jesus taught, “But when you pray, go into your private room, shut your door, and pray to your Father Who is in secret.  And your Father Who sees in secret will reward you.”  He Who sits on the throne next to His Father in Heaven is saying, talk with your Father in heaven and listen.  Communicate.  There are no physical instruments or devices.  Only you and God, Jesus being there on on behalf of us.  From our solitary room to His.
Sometimes we do not know what to say, so we listen, even as we read His thoughts as written.  But “The Spirit helps us in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings.  And He Who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because He intercedes for the saints (His people) according to the will of God.”  Sound complex?  And yet, so simple.  God listening to His people and creation as He always has, even now in our generation.
Our Father in Heaven, in all of Your glory and splendor, thank You for Your care for each of us, so tender, so strong.  Bound by Your love, You draw us unto Your self and Your kingdom, revealing even Your desires through Your words as we read and Your thoughts as we look to see what You are saying.  Speak Your daily plan for us, and may we be pleasing to you, through the representation of Your Son and Spirit.  Conform us to Your design.  Thank You, Father!
‭‭How much time do you spend in research and communicating with a builder, an electrician, a health advisor, a friend, a merchant, each other, even the IRS or an attorney?  Pray to your Father Who is in secret.  Communicate.  All the time.

living w/god: Baptismal speech

I am Desire and this is my son Enrique Gianluca. Today, I am here to share with you how God has changed my life.

For a long time, I wondered why, why things were not happening the way I wanted them to happen, after all, I was working hard, I was providing, I was strong, and I trusted myself.  As I looked for answers, I turned to the world, but the world was not providing answers.  I found myself blind, hopeless, and disoriented, and I lost all perspective. In my desperation, I turned to Christ, and I asked Him to come into my life and free me from this burden and guide me to live for him.

It was not until God heard my request that I received answers. The day that He knocked on my door and I opened my heart to Him was the day I understood I inflicted this pain on myself because, for a long time, I trusted myself instead of trusting Him, I relied on myself when I should rely on His promise. Jesus said on Matthew 11: 28-29 “Come upon Me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me. For I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul, and My yoke is easy, and my burden is light

When God came into my life, he offered me a new beginning, a new life, and I embraced it with open arms because for the very first time, I understood that I am not alone and I should not be afraid because everything is under His control, not mine, and so I trust Him, and today I declare Him as my savior, my refuge, and my strength.
