COVID-19

As of 30 May, many of the COVID-19 restrictions as mandated by the governor have been lifted.  We will continue to wear masks indoors for the consideration of all, but are no longer required to observe the previous distancing guidelines.  All new information is updated on this site.

Do you like change?  Do you embrace it?  Do you even eagerly seek for something to go blip and what you’re accustomed to becomes different?  Probably not.  Coco-Cola changed their flagship drink several years ago and it was a flop.  Sales plummeted.  They had to walk that decision backwards to the same old recipe.  A constant. like Pi.

Technology advances are not linear, they occur even faster than they used to change.  The constant in technology is not status quo, it’s change itself!, generating change in our every related process and even how we drive.  Some good, some not so good, even bad.

In the midst of a world of change, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever!”  This is one of the most comforting revelations God has given us.  In fact, “Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast by turning;” reiterating, He is the same.  God does not change His mind and act differently, changing the rules of physical and spiritual natures.  He is true.  Dependable.  Reliable and reachable through the mediation of His Son, through Whose righteousness we are allowed by faith to appear and speak and be heard.  By His righteousness we are declared righteous. All of the time!

Father, Your love is constant toward me is never changing.  You even tell us nothing can separate us from Your love.  Although I don’t want to, there is nowhere I can go away from Your love.  You do not fall in or out of love with me depending on my maturity or digressions.  Thank You that You hear my every prayer.  May Your will for our lives be done, on earth as in Heaven.

Constant.  Always on.  Never failing.  Available not through our own goodness, but always through the righteousness of Jesus, the same — yesterday, today, tomorrow, forever.

Hebrews 13:8, James 1:17, 1 Timothy 2:5, Titus 3:5, Romans 8:38-39, Psalm 139:10, Matthew 6:10 HCSB
