I remember some key advice given to me years ago, advice that was crucial to my career.  Come to find out, by the asking, it was advice that had been shared with many.  So I did the same thing, believing and subscribing to this advice and sharing the same with many freely, I also left it up to these others to take it or leave it.  It was a simple plan, easily understood. Memorable and executable.
In Bible circles, we learn God has a plan for each of us, key, motivated by His own love and the continuance of His Creation; having sent a part of Himself to dwell among us and die that we might have the opportunity to live with Him forever.  Some embraced believing His Son Jesus, Who had been spoken of centuries prior.  Others did not.
The key to being Christian is not family or nation, but Jesus living in us, like we live in us, a possibility only through the Holy Spirit upon believing that God did what He said.  By His Spirit living inside of us, we are locked “in-Christ,” an irreversible union.  The Bible tells us that by believing, by an act of faith, “I have been crucified with Christ, and I (my rebellious state) no longer live, but Christ lives in me,” putting me “in-Christ.”  “The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me;” cutting the power line of our rebellious nature and connecting with God Himself.  How do I know?  The Bible tells me so.  Key information, found nowhere else, yet available to all.  A simple plan, easily understood.  Memorable and executable.
Father, although it is mind blowing that You call each of us into Your love to adoption and an inheritance of all spiritual blessings, our perception does not change Your truth.  “Help Thou our unbelief,” and teach us by faith with Your eye.
Even as the jailer of Philippi was told, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved — you and your household,” still holds as truth for you and me and yours to be; provisioned with life abundant now, and life eternal from this day forward, forever to be with Him, “in-Christ.”  Simple, but key.
Galatians‬ ‭2:20‬, Psalm 139:6, Ephesians 1:3, 5, Mark 9:24, Psalm 32:8, Acts‬ ‭16:31‬, John 10:10 CSB‬‬ ‬‬

living w/god: Baptismal speech

I am Desire and this is my son Enrique Gianluca. Today, I am here to share with you how God has changed my life.

For a long time, I wondered why, why things were not happening the way I wanted them to happen, after all, I was working hard, I was providing, I was strong, and I trusted myself.  As I looked for answers, I turned to the world, but the world was not providing answers.  I found myself blind, hopeless, and disoriented, and I lost all perspective. In my desperation, I turned to Christ, and I asked Him to come into my life and free me from this burden and guide me to live for him.

It was not until God heard my request that I received answers. The day that He knocked on my door and I opened my heart to Him was the day I understood I inflicted this pain on myself because, for a long time, I trusted myself instead of trusting Him, I relied on myself when I should rely on His promise. Jesus said on Matthew 11: 28-29 “Come upon Me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me. For I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul, and My yoke is easy, and my burden is light

When God came into my life, he offered me a new beginning, a new life, and I embraced it with open arms because for the very first time, I understood that I am not alone and I should not be afraid because everything is under His control, not mine, and so I trust Him, and today I declare Him as my savior, my refuge, and my strength.
