Submission

Although often met with resistance, on the other side of anarchy is submission, submission to law and order, seemingly contrary to the thoughts of many in this age.  Within itself, submission is a confession, an agreement with the need to work within an established framework, regardless of it being of earth or heaven, physical or spiritual, laws of the land or kingdom above.
The Apostle, being from the Jewish heritage himself, was able to testify his people had “zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.”  Imagine w me for a moment, zeal without knowledge.  That’s dangerous! One might hit an undetermined target unknowingly!  Ignorance is not bliss! It’s unaccountable.  “Ignorant of the righteousness of God, they attempted to establish their own righteousness, not submitted to God’s righteousness.  Imagine again, is this picture surfacing?  How can we, the clay, tell the Potter our rules, thinking what we “ok” is sufficient an agenda for the Potter?!
“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.  But the righteousness that comes from faith speaks like this:  This is the message of faith that we proclaim:  If you confess (agree) with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”  For again, by believing this, you are in agreement with the Potter Himself, Who set up this loving response to counter our judgement.  “One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness (from Him), and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
Father in heaven, have Thine own way with us and “show us Your way, Your will, even as You revealed and recorded here. Lord, lead us on a level path.”
For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes on Him, Jesus, will not be put to shame (judged), because the same Lord of all richly blesses all who call on Him.  For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (rescued eternally).  Have you called Him?  Or are you developing your own “righteous path?”  Choose the Potter’s Choice, Who has your best interest at heart, for all times.  Submission. Call on Him Who says, “Follow Me.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:2-4, Jeremiah 18:3-4, Romans 10:8-10, 11-13, Isaiah 28:16, Psalms‬ ‭27:11‬, Matthew 4:19 CSB‬‬ ‬‬

living w/god: Baptismal speech

I am Desire and this is my son Enrique Gianluca. Today, I am here to share with you how God has changed my life.

For a long time, I wondered why, why things were not happening the way I wanted them to happen, after all, I was working hard, I was providing, I was strong, and I trusted myself.  As I looked for answers, I turned to the world, but the world was not providing answers.  I found myself blind, hopeless, and disoriented, and I lost all perspective. In my desperation, I turned to Christ, and I asked Him to come into my life and free me from this burden and guide me to live for him.

It was not until God heard my request that I received answers. The day that He knocked on my door and I opened my heart to Him was the day I understood I inflicted this pain on myself because, for a long time, I trusted myself instead of trusting Him, I relied on myself when I should rely on His promise. Jesus said on Matthew 11: 28-29 “Come upon Me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me. For I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul, and My yoke is easy, and my burden is light

When God came into my life, he offered me a new beginning, a new life, and I embraced it with open arms because for the very first time, I understood that I am not alone and I should not be afraid because everything is under His control, not mine, and so I trust Him, and today I declare Him as my savior, my refuge, and my strength.
